It is time to reconnect to Spirit and to ourselves, to set a strong intent for the next cycle of Life and to stand in the centre of our own circle.
Eagle Dance is a yearly ceremony open to anyone who is seeking to find Self while opening up to Creation. It is a chance to be focused inward and let go of pretenses, to recharge the batteries of our soul and propel ourselves forward to walk Life with beauty and power.
This yearly ceremony is in its 20th year in the Calgary community; twenty years of gathering together to dance and celebrate our lives.
New Dancers will come to the land ( 1.5 hours from Calgary) on Thursday, July 13th, between and 4 and 6 pm to set up their camp.
Experienced Dancers will arrive on the land on Friday, July 14th, between 4 and 6 pm.
All Dancers will gather on Saturday to prepare the Arbor and contribute to the strength of the ceremonial container.
On Sunday, July 16, we will begin the dance at sunrise and dance into the evening. A community feast will be prepared for all to enjoy after the dance.
The fee for camping, items for the dance, and the feast is $140. There is no charge for ceremony.
